Transport and Tax Office Lists

The deportation lists were arranged by place of residence to facilitate the collection of deportees from Jews’ houses (German: Judenhäuser). Pages 18 and 19 (of 31) list the names of the ghettoized residents in the “Jews’ House Lützowstraße 3” (amongst them Louis Meyer who was not deported; see panel Norbert Kronenberg).

The tax office seized and administered the property of deportees.

The basis for this list was the 11th Decree to the Reich Citizenship Law (German: Reichsbürgergesetz) from November 23rd, 1941; see previous panel on “Administrative Police”.
